The AMA advocacy staff is preparing formal comments on the rules the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released several weeks ago. In the meantime, they have prepared summaries of each of the rules. Read the 2017 Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS)/Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) proposed rule summary here, and the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS) proposed rule summary here.
