National Initiatives
Addressing well-being across the country
The endemic proportions of stress and burnout among clinicians is a serious issue being addressed at the national level. Federally funded research by Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) has been and continues to be instrumental in identifying how to address this problem. The Joint Commission’s National Taskforce for Humanity in Healthcare (NTH) is another example of important work at the national level.
