Come to Raleigh (virtually or in person) to attend the Legislative Advocacy “White Coat Days”

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have created another White Coat Day option where you may visit with legislators in a virtual format. Please sign up as usual, and we will be in touch with the details for your virtual visit to Raleigh to advocate for your profession.

Legislative Advocacy Days are your chance to learn more about the ins-and-outs of the government affairs and how best to approach your legislator regarding health care issues. The NCMS will hold a briefing with tips on “dos and don’ts” in relaying your message to your legislator and on the hot-button medical and patient issues currently in the spotlight at the General Assembly.

Pick a day to organize a group — such as other physicians from your community or your specialty colleagues from around the state — to participate together. Can’t make a group event, but still wish to attend a White Coat Day? Individual physicians and PAs are welcome to come to Raleigh on any weekday during the legislative session.
