In 2003, former NCMS President Dr. Elizabeth Kanof, a second-generation dermatologist, co-founded the Leadership College, spearheading what is now known as the Kanof Institute of Professional Leadership (KIPL).
KIPL is now a three-pronged comprehensive educational program for future clinicians, established clinicians, and those seeking to step into administrative roles. Dr. Kanof’s dynamic guidance over the years has led to over 800 KIPL graduates who have gleaned professional tools to navigate the path from the exam room to the board room.
Her legacy will be celebrated at the upcoming 2023 LEAD Conference and Gala. Look for more information on that in the coming months.
