The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is extending the Medicare Advantage (MA) Value-Based Insurance Design (VBID) model for calendar years 2025 through 2030.
This extension will include an introduction of changes that will more comprehensively address the health-related social needs of patients, advance health equity, and address care coordination improvements for patients with serious illness.
