HB 26 – Workers’ Compensation/Approval of Disputed Legal Fees

This bill states that if a dispute arises between an employee’s current and past attorney regarding a fee approved by the Commission, the Commission will hear it. Additionally, the Commission would notify the attorneys of the total fee amount before determining how to divide the fees between the attorneys.
