It’s still a wait and see game at the General Assembly on several fronts. While the House is still trying to gather enough votes to override the Governor’s veto of the budget, different House and Senate stop-gap spending bills to ensure federal matching funds to keep key programs running are being considered. Other bills, however, are moving forward such as proposals on CON and the NC Medical Board.
