This bill would appropriate funds to the Board of Governors of the University of North Carolina for the development and implementation of a Physician Assistant curriculum at Winston-Salem State University for the recruitment of students from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds. The goal of this bill is to increase the racial and ethnic diversity of licensed physician assistants practicing in this state.
