The Health Resources and Services Administration is investing $23 million for residency program development in community-based ambulatory patient care centers to expand the primary care workforce in rural and underserved areas.
Eligible applicants include–but are not limited to–Federally Qualified Health Centers, community mental health centers, Rural Health Clinics, and Indian Health Service facilities.
Successful applicants will provide a health professions learning environment specific to the needs of their community.
