The future prediction holds that healthcare needs “leaders who fight to make the words in the organization’s mission statement really mean something”, in line with the era of value creation, that has been exacerbated by the pandemic.
The focus on value is also of importance to attract and retain employees, something that to most leaders in healthcare is a major concern. Genuine, authentic leadership has shown to inspire and motivate followers in addition to provide great leadership.
