This bill would expand the duties of the Advisory Council of Rare Diseases to include advisory notes within 14 calendar days of receiving a proposed bill pertaining to rare diseases. The sponsors of each bill would submit a copy of the bill for an advisory note, which would be attached to the bill at the time of its consideration by the General Assembly.
House:
In the House, this bill received a favorable in the House Rules and Operations Committee on April 25, 2017. This bill was heard on the House Floor on April, 25, 2017. This bill will now move to the Senate.
Senate:
In the Senate, this bill has been referred to the Senate Health Care Committee. If it is found favorable there it will move to the Senate Appropriations/Base Budget Committee, and then to the Senate Rules and Operations Committee.
