I opposed the save act, as I am a physician assistant with 24 years of experience, and currently I assist in TRAINING for students! If fnps are granted autonomy (but not pa`s) this will effectively end pa practice as we know it. Duke University started the pa profession almost 50 years ago and if the stop act passes NC will end the pa profession. Has anyone considered the loss of health care workers due to this?
