1.  Taxonomy Enrollment Requirement Reminders for Claim Payment

Medicaid and prepaid health plans (PHPs) have identified a trend in claim denials related to taxonomy enrollment and credentialing. As a reminder, the taxonomy submitted on a claim for billing, rendering and attending providers must be a taxonomy for which the provider is enrolled with NC Medicaid. 2. Deadline Extended: FCC Healthcare Connect Fund

The FCC’s Healthcare Connect Fund (operated under the FCC’s Rural Healthcare Program) provides a 65% discount on eligible broadband connectivity expenses for eligible rural health care providers, including CHCs. All rural CHCs are encouraged to apply for funding.

Visit our Medicaid Transformation page, where you will find a handy list of state and individual health plan resources as well as a special NCMS form to log any specific issues you are encountering.
