Bill Summary
This bill would appropriate funding to the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Abuse Services for a grant-in-aid to Guilford county for the construction of a facility based mental health crisis center for adults.
The bill would appropriate $3,850,000 from the General Fund in nonrecurring funds for 2019-20 fiscal year and the same amount in the 2020-21 fiscal year.
The bill would also appropriate $2,300,000 in nonrecurring funds from the Dorthea Dix Hospital Property Fund for the 2019-20 fiscal year.
