We hope all OB/Gyn physicians, residents and OB/Gyn allies will join us this year. Look for more details soon, but please plan to join us in Raleigh at the North Carolina Medical Society beginning at 8:00 am and then walk the halls of the legislature through the afternoon. If you cannot join us for the entire day, please attend for as much of our time together as your schedule allows.

We will be focusing our time with lawmakers on two issues: the Society’s proposal to address maternal mortality – which includes a pathway to independent practice for CNMs – and the impact of restrictions on abortion on our patients and patient care.

The Society’s advocacy work this year is vital to our patients, their care and our members’ role as independent health care providers. We hope you will be part of this effort and join us on March 22.
