The NCDA is presenting a free webinar on Contract Negotiations featuring Shaw Parker.  The event is February 20, 2023 at 7:30pm.

Shawn Parker serves as General Counsel and Chief of Staff for the North Carolina Academy of Family Physicians. As part of the Executive team, he manages a wide range of responsibilities to support the legal and administrative operations of the NCAFP and NCAFP Foundation as well as provides governance, legal, and strategic guidance to these organizations.

Mr. Parker has an extensive background in health care law and government regulation advising healthcare organizations and individual physician practices on the business of medicine, as well as providing counsel regarding governance and policy to health care professional associations and health care related non-profit organizations. Additionally, he has worked as an analyst and attorney with the North Carolina General Assembly and has extensive experience in public policy development and the legislative process. Shawn has served two terms as a public member of the North Carolina Medical Board and is currently an At-Large Director for the Federation of State Medical Boards.
