In November, Carolina Complete Health added a new tool to their secure Provider Portal (which enables providers to conduct business with Carolina Complete Health from the convenience of their desktops seamlessly and in real time), meant to simplify the provider experience.
This exciting tool, InterQual Connect™, offers several new capabilities:
• Streamlined web authorization request*
• Easy access to InterQual Connect™ to complete medical review
o Completed InterQual medical review will automatically be included with your web authorization submission
o Possible same-day approval based on outcome of a completed InterQual medical necessity review
• Identifies non-submitted Service Lines and provides reason for non-submittal
*Please Note: Whether or not criteria are met via InterQual Connect™, it does not guarantee approval or denial of the authorization. Authorizations will be reviewed by clinical team and the final authorization decision will be displayed on the Secure Provider Portal.
