RESOLVED, That the North Carolina Medical Society, in recognition of the need for more primary care physicians, supports the State’s schools of medicine and osteopathy the NC Area Health Education Centers Program (AHEC) in promoting community-based medical education; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the North Carolina Medical Society supports individual member involvement in community-based medical education by serving as preceptors for medical students training in their communities.
