1. NCTracks Claims Reprocessing NotificationNC Medicaid is making practices aware of an upcoming NCTracks claims reprocessing effort to address underpayment of professional claims that were processed and paid between April 2, 2017 and July 19, 2018. The affected claims are those that reprocessed for the Affordable Care Act Enhanced Rate adjusted payment and were denied incorrectly. For more details, please see the full notice here.
2. Cape Fear Collective Launched Healthy Communities NC DashboardIn a 2020 report , the North Carolina Institute of Medicine’s (NCIOM) Healthy NC 2030 taskforce developed 21 public health indicators and targets for North Carolina to work toward. The Cape Fear Collective (CFC), in partnership with Novant Health and Datawheel, developed the Healthy Communities NC dashboard as a data and analysis tool to align community data collection, program measurement, and goal setting for communities across the state as they work to address the these indicators. The CFC recently launched the dashboard, publishing the Cape Fear region’s data with plans to publish the additional seven regions soon. For more information, please see the CFC press release.
