Do you work in medical education or have an interest in educational activities for you and your colleagues? If so, please consider joining the NCMS Medical Education Committee.

NCMS Members are keenly aware of the importance of continuing professional development for Physicians and PAs. Many NCMS members rely on educational opportunities offered by employers or Area Health Education Centers (AHECs) to obtain continuing medical education (CME) credits. Eleven (11) of our state’s CME providers rely on their own program accreditation via the NCMS. These providers offered nearly 600 activities in the reporting year 2021.

The NCMS Accreditation Program is staffed by Russet Rogers, EdD, and monitored by the Medical Education Committee. The Committee meets at least quarterly and is charged with reviewing recommendations for accreditation and reaccreditation of providers, according to Accreditation Council of Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) criteria.

Committee members must be current NCMS members. For more information or to be considered for nomination to the Committee, please contact Russet Rogers at [email protected].
