Step behind the scenes of the legislative process and see how policy is shaped firsthand. This immersive experience begins with an exclusive briefing from NCDA staff on the most pressing legislative issues, along with insider guidance on how to effectively engage with elected officials. You’ll learn the do’s and don’ts of meeting with legislators—and have the opportunity to ask your own questions.
Following this briefing, attendees will walk down to the NC General Assembly to meet with legislators and sit in on important committee meetings. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to advocate, learn, and connect.
