HB 512 – Monitor Implementation of TBI Waiver

This bill would require the NC Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to report to the General Assembly the status and implantation of the 1915(C) waiver for individuals with traumatic brain injury that has been submitted to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
As a part of this process, the bill would require DHHS to adopt rules or medical coverage policies relating to service programs for individuals with traumatic brain injury. Additionally, the bill would require DHHS to maintain adequate reimbursement rates for programs that serve individuals with traumatic brain injury.
