We are closely monitoring the impact of Hurricane Helene on health centers in the southeast. We know that in times of crisis, health centers offer a crucial lifeline to affected communities. We also know that many health centers and their staff may have been directly impacted. You are in our thoughts during this difficult time, and we deeply appreciate the vital support you are offering to your communities.

To those in the affected areas, please work with your Primary Care Association (PCAs) to report on the status of your service delivery sites. PCAs serve as essential statewide coordinators of information, data, and resources in support of health centers during response and recovery efforts.

Deadline Extensions for Those Impacted

  • We will grant a deadline extension to complete your New Access Points (NAP) application in HRSA’s Electronic Handbooks (EHBs), if needed. Contact [email protected] with your organization name, location (explain the impact), and EHBs tracking number or H80 grant number (if you have it). Remember to include your email and phone number so we can reach you.
  • If you are an H80 with a budget period start date of March 1, 2025, or a look-alike (LAL) with a start date of January 1, 2025, we will grant an extension for your Budget Period Progress Report or LAL Renewal of Designation/Annual Certification. Contact us via the BPHC Contact Form, including an explanation of the impact.
