  • Next-Gen Research: The resident abstract and scientific poster sessions showcased exceptional clinical research, highlighting the bright future of spine surgery in North Carolina. Congratulations to Duke University’s Isabella Decker and Tobe Ndika on their respective winning abstracts:

In addition, the NC Spine Society honored outgoing president Muhammad M. Abd-El-Barr, MD, PhD for his service this past year and welcomed Anthony Kwon, MD as president for 2026-2027.
