Famed comedian and TV host Leslie Jones will be at the Carolina Theatre in Durham Friday at 7pm (and in Charleston Saturday if you miss her!). Info and tickets here.
Dance barefoot on the sand Friday and Saturday at Carolina Beach Music Festival!
Here is your chance to dance barefoot on the sand or just sway to the Beach Music Beat while standing in the surf. The Carolina Beach Music Festival is billed as “the biggest and only beach music festival actually held on the beach on the North Carolina coast” and is one of the longest running beach music festivals in the US. Performers include The Tams and The 14Kt. Gold Band, Band of Oz, Cat5live and Jim Quick & Coastline. More info and tickets are here.

The Art of the Brick happening in Raleigh
It is the most famous exhibition of Lego art ever (yes, that dinosaur is made from legos!). After touring several cities and entering CNN’s list of “Must-See” exhibitions, it has finally come to Raleigh. Critically acclaimed, the collection features works by artist Nathan Sawaya, which include over 90+ sculptures made from millions of LEGO® bricks. Check it out at Pleasant Valley Promenade.
