The North Carolina Medical Society was pleased to sponsor and attend the 2026 Carolinas MGMA Fall Conference in Charlotte this past weekend, with the theme Accelerating Healthcare Excellence in the Carolinas.
This CMGMA meeting had an increased attendance of 15% over last year’s Fall conference and a 27% increased attendance from this year’s Spring conference, a great tribute to the CMGMA Leadership in emphasizing the importance of medical practices administrators coming together in support of each other.
This message was further emphasized in keynote speaker Dean Otto’s presentation, Finish the Ride: The Power of Belief at Work and in Life. Mr. Otto stressed that “belief is not passive. It’s a discipline, a decision, a practice and something teams can build together.”
Congratulations to Cornerstone Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine’s Sheridan Robinson for being named Practice Administrator of the Year, Ortho SC for being named Practice of the Year, and Melissa Klingberg for receiving the President’s Award!
