NC SHIP Community Council Annual 

Virtual Meeting

The NC State Health Improvement Plan (SHIP) Community Council is a statewide collaborative created in 2020 by NCDHHS that brings together leaders from across sectors to develop data-driven strategies and action plans designed to improve health and well-being by addressing the Healthy North Carolina (HNC) 2030 priorities. 

The annual meeting is a chance to review the most recent State Health Assessment (2025), hear updates from the SHIP workgroups, and discuss next steps for the Council and its work. The 2025 State Health Assessment report serves a mid-cycle review of the progress North Carolina has made towards meeting the HNC 2030 goals, which was released earlier this year. 

The North Carolina Medical Society applauds and supports the NC SHIP Community Council on their continued efforts to drive collaborative strategies for a healthier North Carolina.
