Did You Know that NCMS Accredits the Accreditors?

Did you know that the NCMS Accreditation Program “accredits accreditors” in our state by conducting their program evaluation according to Accreditation Council on Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) standards? At this time, 11 CME providers in NC are accredited through the NCMS. These providers offered over 500 learning activities in 2021.

The bulk of the work for this program is handled by Russet Rogers, EdD, who serves as staff consultant to NCMS, and the Medical Education Committee, comprised of NCMS members who conduct program surveys, evaluation, and make decisions on program accreditation.
