HB 778 – LRC/Opioid Misuse Prevention

This bill would authorize the Legislative Research Commission to study effective evidence-based strategies for preventing opioid misuse and overdose.
The study would examine the following:
- Average age of individuals misusing opioids;
- How individuals misusing opioids began misusing them;
- Length of time individuals misusing opioids have been misusing them.
This bill has been referred to the House Rules and Operations Committee.
