Amber Stephenson, PhD, MPH, Assistant Professor of Management in the Healthcare MBA program at Clarkson University in Schenectady, NY, is conducting research to identify and understand barriers to women’s advancement and is seeking female physicians to participate in the study.
The purpose of the research is to create and validate an unconscious gender bias index and to then assess the impact of unconscious gender bias experienced by female physicians on job-related correlates such as professional identification and satisfaction.
The study has been approved through the Shippensburg University Institutional Review Board.
