1. Financial Stability: A Primer for Practice Managers

Today, February 16, SEAHEC Practice Support Services will present session 1 of a two-part webinar series that will focus on key aspects of financial sustainability, including long-term planning, establishing systems to track fiscal health, and financial modeling.

2. REAL Data Collection in NC: Brief Survey on Race, Ethnicity and Language data collection

NCDHHS and The Duke Margolis Center for Health Policy are asking practices, payers, CINS, and others to complete this brief survey on how their practice/organization is collecting REAL data. The goal is to identify opportunities for alignment that would improve the REAL data in NC.

3. Medical Justice in Advocacy Fellowship

The Medical Justice in Advocacy Fellowship is a collaboration between American Medical Association’s Center for Health Equity and Morehouse School of Medicine’s Satcher Health Leadership Institute.

Using an anti-racist, equity-centered learning framework, the fellowship provides a mentoring and training platform that equips participants with the foundational skills, tools and knowledge to engage in institutional and political health advocacy.  The fellowship empowers and mobilizes physicians to be part of the next generation of advocacy leaders, driving meaningful policy and structural changes that produce equity and justice in the communities they serve.

Updates on North Carolina’s Children and Families Specialty Plan Webinar

North Carolina’s Division of Health Benefits continues to develop the Children and Families Specialty Plan – formerly known as North Carolina’s Specialized Foster Care Plan. The plan will support children, youth and families involved in the child welfare system.

Join this webinar to hear updates to the Children and Families Specialty Plan (CFSP) Concept Paper. These changes are in response to feedback received from an extensive stakeholder engagement effort and will include a status update on the CFSP, plus key design changes, a timeline and next steps.
