The NC Asthma, Allergy and Immunology Society (NCAAIS) is collecting data on United Healthcare (UHC) denials for codes 95004 and 95165 in order to appeal denials and resolve this payment issue.  The NCAAIS Board of Directors requests that allergy practices gather the following information: DOS, CPT codes, units billed (if applicable), denial date, actions taken and any follow up information you may have about the denials. Women in Medicine Symposium

Friday, March 4, 2022
12:30 PM – 4:45 PM

Cape Fear Valley Health System and Southern Regional AHEC are excited to recognize the contributions of women physicians to the health of our communities and to advancing the system of care. Gender disparities in mentoring, leadership, income, and personal health are significant for women in medicine. The inequities rooted in structural barriers and systemic racism further exacerbate the challenges for physicians who are women of color. This conference explores how women physicians in the Sandhills region are addressing professional obstacles and community health inequities through leadership, education, and advocacy as well as serving as models to erase the stigma of addressing physician mental health and well-being.
