The Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) is offering a learning collaborative to support a Statewide Provider Support Network (SPSN) to leverage expertise and best practices that will strengthen the quality of care for people in the pregnant, postpartum, and interconception periods.
The goal is to increase awareness and engage interprofessional collaboration in the provision of maternal health/well-woman care. The collaborative will include providers primarily from Obstetrics & Gynecology, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, and Nursing professionals, as well as other related providers from across the six perinatal care regions in NC.
A series of continuing education opportunities will be offered to operationalize these efforts, beginning January 25th through March 1, 2023.
