Bill Summary
This bill adjusts all the changes to meet federal requirements. The bill has provisions that adjust to the reform plans.
Section 1
This established a process for beneficiaries to file grievances and appeals by PHPs regarding benefit coverage.
Section 10
This exempts contract disputes between PHPs and DHHS from Chapter 150b contested case hearings at the Office of Administrative Hearings.
Section 11
This allows a PHP to be named as the sole respondent in a contested case.
