This bill would remove the requirement the buprenorphine prescribers register with the state.

The bill decriminalizes the use of drug testing equipment to detect contaminants.

The bill broadens the objectives of syringe exchange programs to include all individuals who use drugs illicitly to enroll in evidence based treatment.

The bill outlines that a goal of syringe exchange programs to include reducing the number of drug overdoses in NC.

The bill removes the ban of state funds to purchase needles, syringes, or other injection supplies.
