Bill Summary
This bill would appropriate $5,000,000 for the 2019-2020 fiscal year for child advocacy centers.
- Up to $100,000 for each child advocacy center in good standing with Child Advocacy Centers of NC, Inc.
- Up to $1,000,000 to the Child Advocacy Centers of NC, Inc. to establish new child advocacy centers in this State where a child advocacy center is not currently located
- $100,000 to Children’s Advocacy Centers of NC, Inc for operations
- Any remaining funds revert to the General Fund
