If you are not part of an Accountable Care Organization (ACO), you may be interested in becoming part of a Practice Transformation Network (PTN) to help you navigate the changes as our health care system transforms from fee-for-service to value-based payment models. North Carolina is served by several PTNs, which are peer-based learning networks designed to coach, mentor and assist clinicians in developing core competencies specific to practice transformation.
The North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS) is working with the National Rural Accountable Care Consortium to offer workshops to allow clinician practices to become actively engaged in the transformation and ensures collaboration among a broad community of practices to create, promote, and sustain learning and improvement across the health care system.
