Dr. Smith, a North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS) member since 1990, is a former Community Practitioner Program participant and a graduate of the Kanof Institute for Physician Leadership’s Health Care Leadership and Management (HCLM) program alumna. She also was honored this year as the American Association of Family Physicians Family Physician of the Year.
