The NC Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology Society (NCAAIS) White Coat Day is an annual legislative advocacy event held in Raleigh that empowers allergists, immunologists, and fellows-in-training to shape healthcare policy in North Carolina. Attendees begin the day with expert briefings on pressing healthcare issues—such as strengthening prior authorization reform, ensuring reliable access to life-saving epinephrine in schools, and addressing health disparities in asthma care—before heading to the legislative complex to meet face-to-face with state lawmakers.
