The 2022 LEAD Conference and the Inaugural Golden Stethoscope Awards Gala were a wonderful weekend for hundreds of NCMS members and their guests.

During the day, participants learned about everything from what to expect when first starting their career to new frontiers in medicine and what to expect in the upcoming elections.

Exhibitors showcased their latest offerings and the event kicked off with a State Fair themed party hosted (and DJ’d by) incoming president Arthur Apolinario.

To cap it off Dr. Apolinario was sworn in as the new president of the North Carolina Medical Society at a black-tie gala. Four women were awarded the inaugural Golden Stethoscope Awards.

It was a fantastic weekend and here are some photos of all the fun. Enjoy!
